Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing started in the year 2000, with sanctioned intake capacity of 50 students.
Students from all-over India seek admission in this college. The college was started with an objective of imparting high quality education
to the students – who will have in-depth theoretical knowledge and excellent practical skill. The institute continues to back its students
with knowledge and values, earning them their university degrees with good success and an ability to take up responsible leadership role
in nursing profession.
The college offers advanced curriculum, with qualified faculty providing hands-on education. The college
is engaged in continuous evaluation methods to evaluate students objectively, arranges seminars, workshops and Refresher courses for
development of students and faculty members.
Research grants are sponsored to encourage teachers and students for undertaking
Research Projects. Extracurricular activity arrangement like Pulse Polio, Blood Donation, National Health Day Celebration are also
undertaken to make the society aware about Public Health.
